Unless you have an emergency, please be patient with response times. We do expect any families that we come in contact with to be open to meeting with a local affiliate of Saving Our Sisters. SOS makes periodic updates to their social media accounts regarding families we assist. SOS will not share any of your information or pictures without your permission. SOS will never contact anyone about you or your situation without your knowledge and permission. SOS reserves the right to sever ties with a mother/family if we feel decisions are being made that do not benefit mom and her children.
If you are having suicidal thoughts or are feeling like you want to harm yourself – please immediately call 1-800-273-8255 or 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. We are an all volunteer organization and are not acting as therapists, mental health providers or attorneys.
Please allow at least 1 week for us to respond and keep in mind that we prioritize families with closer due dates and more urgent cases such as revocations. Also, the more information you provide explaining your situation will help us better understand and work faster to get you the appropriate resources and information.
